5th Pink Saturday: Strawberry Preserves, Anyone?

March 28, 2009

Go ahead, get your spoon and a piece of bread,  or cake, or whatever it is you want to pair them with 🙂

These came from the strawberry field which I shared with you last Wednesday. (Nope, didn’t make them 🙂 )

And about last Pink Saturday on pink hair rollers, I’m glad I made you smile, laugh, and remember nice, funny memories you had.

Happy Pink Saturday!

Thank you again Miss Beverly.

Hello, thanks for visiting! As for your “mini album” tablescape idea inquiry, yes; actually, I’ll be doing that in my patio soon if not in the summer. I’ve just been waiting for our weather to settle down. I’m so excited to try all of my ideas so I’m actually somewhat irritated when the weather would not cooperate long enough for me to set things up in my patio. LOL

I’m going to make me some toast and be right over. Did you ever receive your package?? It seems like it should have gotten there unless I just forgot that you told me you received it?

I drove through the area today that has the Florida strawberry fields… Plant City. I went there to a friend’s ordination as a minister. I love to see the fields. It warms my heart, and interestingly, someone had cooked smoke salmon with different types of jams and jellies. I don’t know if strawberry was one of them, but there was apricot, grape, and raspberry. I bet strawberry would have been even more special!

love strawberry jam on toast with lotsa butter. more so if eaten with egg, bacon and brewed coffee! ahhh… miss ko na ang breakfast combo na yan a.

btw, what’s the best brand of strawberry jam sa baguio? hindi kasi ako bumibili diyan ng jam.

thanks for dropping by. now lang ako nakapag-bloghop. this abnormal weather is killing me. imagine yesterday ‘kala mo may storm. then this morning, ang init-init. sobra. then now naman ang lamig! how’s the weather there? my son is currently there. binitbit ng lolo at lola.

and sorry, ubos na ang polvoron. sa next batch na lang kita titirhan. 😀 my makulit na daughter said kanina when she took the last polvoron from the fridge – “this is mine. no more polvoron na. gawa ka ulit mommy.” hahaha…

    see ya around! ingats!
